High-Security Hazardous Substance Cupboards
QMP hazardous security cupboards provide reinforced, lockable chemical storage for laboratories, factories, workshops, maintenance departments and controlled industrial areas. They are suitable for workplaces that require stronger protection against unauthorised access than a standard hazardous substance cupboard.
Each UK-manufactured cupboard combines fully welded 1.5 mm mild-steel construction with a seven-lever safe lock, full-length heavy-duty hinges, concealed fixings, adjustable galvanised spill-retaining shelves and an integral liquid-tight sump.
Five sizes are available, from compact 900 mm-high cupboards to full-height 1800 mm models with up to three shelves. Select the appropriate cupboard according to the substances, container dimensions, storage quantities, safety data sheets and controls identified through the workplace COSHH assessment.

Do hazardous security cupboards include spill containment?
Yes. The cupboards include adjustable spill-retaining galvanised shelves and an integral liquid-tight sump. These features help restrict minor leaks inside the cabinet but do not replace compatible containers, regular inspections or workplace spill-response procedures.

Security Construction
The welded cabinet body, seven-lever safe lock, heavy-duty hinges and concealed fixings provide stronger physical access protection than a standard hazardous substance cupboard. Access should still be restricted to authorised personnel and managed through the site's chemical-storage procedures.
Spill Containment
The galvanised spill-retaining shelves and integral sump help contain minor leaks within the cupboard. They do not replace compatible containers, routine inspections, suitable absorbent materials or a documented spill-response procedure.
Chemical Compatibility
The cupboard should not be treated as universal storage for every hazardous substance. Review each chemical's safety data sheet and assess its classification, concentration, quantity, container material and compatibility with other stored substances.

We will deliver using the most economical method, using either our own vehicles or a carrier.
Goods may be palletised and delivered on an articulated vehicle.
The deliveries are kerb side only, you will need to arrange to unload the vehicle.
