Wall-mounted cabinets must be secured to a structurally suitable surface. The installer is responsible for selecting appropriate fixings and confirming that the wall can safely support the cupboard and its contents.

Mobile COSHH Cupboards

• Containers must be closed and secure before the cupboard is moved
• Movement routes should be level, clear and suitable for the load

Mobile cupboards should only be moved by authorised personnel and should not be treated as general-purpose transport equipment for open or unstable chemical containers.

Reaction-to-Fire Classification

EN 13501-1 describes reaction-to-fire performance. It does not mean that the cupboard is a fire-resistant storage cabinet or that it is suitable for every flammable liquid. Check the safety data sheets and workplace fire-risk assessment before selecting storage.
