Plastic Changing Room Benches for Wet Areas
These plastic changing room benches are designed for wet changing rooms, swimming pools, gyms, schools, sports clubs and wash-down areas. They are a practical choice where moisture, humidity and regular cleaning make timber or mild steel seating unsuitable.
The waterproof PVC slats and aluminium support framework help prevent rust, swelling, rot and surface breakdown. This makes the seating suitable for busy shared changing areas where hygiene, durability and simple cleaning are important.

Plastic Bench Seating Selection Guide
| Requirement | Recommended option | Why it helps |
|---|---|---|
| Wet changing room | Plastic bench seating | Waterproof PVC and aluminium resist moisture and rust. |
| Swimming pool changing area | Plastic bench with lower shelf | Provides seating and space for footwear or bags. |
| School changing room | 1000 mm to 2000 mm bench lengths | Allows layouts to be matched to room size and pupil flow. |
| Wash-down area | Smooth PVC bench slats | Easy to wipe down during routine cleaning. |
Waterproof PVC and Aluminium Construction
The bench seating is manufactured from waterproof PVC with aluminium supports. These materials are well suited to wet and humid environments because they do not absorb water and are easier to wipe down than timber seating.
Smooth plastic surfaces support routine cleaning in schools, leisure centres, swimming pools and gyms. The rust-free construction also helps reduce long-term maintenance in changing rooms where water exposure is expected.
Best Uses for Plastic Bench Seating
Plastic bench seating is best used in changing rooms and wash-down areas where water is part of normal daily use. Common locations include swimming pool changing rooms, shower-side changing areas, wet leisure facilities, school changing rooms and coastal sites where corrosion resistance is important.
For complete wet changing room layouts, this seating can be paired with swimming pool lockers, plastic lockers and plastic hook boards.
