Modular Installation
Phoenix cube lockers can be fixed together to create vertical stacks or wider blocks of storage. The arrangement should be planned around the selected sizes, door opening direction, available wall space and safe user access.
Each unit can be prepared for wall fixing. Lockers should be installed on a firm, level surface and secured using fixings suitable for the wall or supporting structure. The complete installation should be assessed for stability before use.
Ventilation and Door Handing
Each locker has a ventilated door to provide passive airflow. Ventilation does not actively dry wet items, so damp clothing or equipment should be dried appropriately before prolonged storage.
The door can be fitted for right-hand or left-hand opening. Confirm the intended door handing before assembling a stack or locker block.
Flat-Packed Assembly
Phoenix CL Series cube lockers are supplied flat-packed with a fixed-frame assembly design. The manufacturer states that an individual unit can be assembled in less than five minutes when the supplied instructions are followed.
Allow sufficient space for delivery, unpacking, assembly, wall fixing and final positioning.
Typical Applications
- Office personal storage and hot-desking areas
- Schools, colleges and education facilities
- Gyms, sports clubs and leisure centres
- Factories, warehouses and industrial workplaces
- Retail, hospitality and staff welfare areas
- Home offices, garages and utility rooms
Privacy and Records Storage
A lockable cube can support an organisation's access-control and information management procedures by restricting casual access to stored items. The locker itself does not make a business GDPR compliant, and appropriate policies, access controls and retention procedures remain necessary.
