Stainless Steel Anti-Vandal Mirrors for Commercial Sites
These stainless steel anti-vandal mirrors are designed for commercial and industrial locations where a conventional mirror may be vulnerable to accidental damage, deliberate misuse or demanding site conditions.
Available in 450mm and 600mm versions, the range provides a choice of viewing size for different locations while retaining the same core anti-vandal purpose.
The mirrors are particularly suited to sites where improved visibility is required alongside a robust mirror design.
Why Choose an Anti-Vandal Stainless Steel Mirror?
Anti-vandal mirrors are intended for locations where the mirror face may be more exposed to impact or damage than it would be in a normal indoor decorative installation.
This makes the range particularly relevant to commercial, industrial and publicly accessible sites where durability and continued visibility are important considerations.
The stainless steel mirror face also distinguishes these products from conventional glass mirrors intended primarily for domestic or decorative use.
Where Are Anti-Vandal Mirrors Used?
Stainless steel anti-vandal mirrors can be used to improve visibility at commercial and industrial sites where people or vehicles need a clearer view of approaching movement.
Typical applications include:
- Loading bays
- Car parks
- Warehouses
- Industrial premises
- Commercial access and circulation areas
The correct mirror position should be determined by the area that needs to be viewed and the normal approach direction of pedestrians or vehicles.
Choosing Between the 450mm and 600mm Mirrors
The range is available in 450mm and 600mm sizes. The most appropriate option will depend on the installation position, available space and the viewing requirement at the site.
A larger mirror can be considered where a greater visible mirror area is required, while the smaller version may be more appropriate where mounting space is limited.
The two sizes have different construction and mounting arrangements, so the technical specification for the selected model should be checked before ordering or installation.
Planning the Mirror Position
Position is important when installing a safety or visibility mirror. Before ordering, identify the area that needs to be seen and the normal viewing position of the person or vehicle approaching it.
Consider mounting height, viewing direction, surrounding obstructions and the distance between the user and the mirror.
The mounting arrangement should also suit the structure available at the installation point. Exact bracket and fixing information is provided in the technical specifications for each mirror size.
Before Ordering an Anti-Vandal Mirror
- Identify the area or approach that needs improved visibility
- Confirm whether the 450mm or 600mm size is more suitable
- Check the available mounting position and surrounding space
- Consider the normal viewing distance and direction
- Confirm that the selected mounting arrangement suits the site
- Check the technical specification before installation
Detailed construction, mounting, bracket and weather-protection information is provided in the Specification section below.
