Static Aluminium Shelving for Cold Rooms and Commercial Storage
Stacarac static aluminium shelving provides durable, corrosion-resistant storage for cold rooms, commercial kitchens, food-storage areas, storerooms and other demanding indoor environments. The anodised aluminium structure combines strength with a relatively lightweight construction, making it a practical alternative to conventional steel shelving.
Each shelving unit has a nominal length of 1000 mm and is available in depths of 400 mm, 500 mm or 600 mm. Choose from one, two, three or four shelf levels according to the required storage capacity, available floor space and room height.

Aluminium Shelving for Cold Rooms
The stated operating-temperature range makes this shelving suitable for many cold-room, chilled-storage and temperature-controlled applications. Its moisture- and corrosion-resistant materials also support use in environments where regular cleaning and long-term durability are important.
Confirm suitability before use in areas subject to specialist food, laboratory, hygiene or chemical-storage requirements. Resistance to mild acids and mild alkalis does not make the shelving suitable for unrestricted chemical exposure.
Choosing the Correct Shelf Configuration
Select the shelf depth according to the dimensions of the stored products and the available aisle space. Static unit heights range from 160 mm for a single-shelf configuration to 1495 mm for a four-shelf unit.
The stated shelf capacity depends on correct assembly, even load distribution and installation on a stable, level floor. Concentrated, unusually heavy or high-risk loads should be confirmed before ordering.

Choosing the Correct Aluminium Shelving
Choose the shelf depth according to the dimensions of the stored products and the available aisle space. A deeper shelf provides additional storage area but also increases the overall footprint of the unit.
The number of shelf levels determines the overall unit height. Check ceiling height, doorway clearance, ventilation equipment and surrounding fixtures before choosing a three- or four-shelf configuration.
The shelving should be assembled on a stable, level floor. Loads should be distributed evenly across each shelf, and unusually heavy or concentrated loads should be confirmed before purchase.

How tall is the static aluminium shelving?
Static units measure 160 mm with one shelf, 605 mm with two shelves, 1050 mm with three shelves and 1495 mm with four shelves.
What is the stated shelf capacity?
The stated shelf capacity is up to 190 kg. Suitability depends on correct assembly, even load distribution and installation on a stable, level floor. Concentrated or unusually heavy loads should be confirmed before ordering.
Is aluminium shelving suitable for cold rooms?
The stated operating-temperature range is -80°C to +80°C, making the shelving suitable for many cold-room, chilled-storage and temperature-controlled applications. Confirm suitability where specialist food, laboratory or hygiene standards apply.
Is the shelving resistant to moisture and corrosion?
Yes. The anodised aluminium, PVC and nylon construction is described as resistant to rust, rot, moisture and corrosion. It also offers resistance to mild acids and mild alkalis.
What is the difference between static and mobile shelving?
Static shelving stands directly on fixed supports and is intended to remain in position. Mobile shelving is fitted with castors so it can be repositioned. The castors increase the overall height by approximately 65 mm.
Does the aluminium shelving arrive assembled?
No. The shelving is supplied flat packed for on-site assembly. Packed dimensions and weight vary according to the selected depth and number of shelf levels.
Can the shelving be used for chemical storage?
The materials offer resistance to mild acids and mild alkalis, but this does not make the shelving suitable for unrestricted chemical storage. Confirm compatibility with the substances and storage conditions before use.
