Designed to work seamlessly with ASSA models 8450, 10450, 391350A, and 492831A, they offer durability, reliability, and consistent performance.
Compatibility and Application
Each cam arm is specifically manufactured to fit its corresponding lock. The compatibility ensures that the locks perform optimally in various applications, from lockers to cabinets and access control systems.
- ASSA 8450 – A robust cam lock designed for controlled access, often used in security enclosures and industrial settings. The cam arm ensures a firm locking mechanism, preventing unauthorized entry.
- ASSA 10450 – A heavy-duty lock used in secure storage solutions. The cam arm is engineered for smooth operation, providing enhanced security.
- ASSA 391350A – Designed for specialized security applications, this lock requires a cam arm that guarantees reliable engagement and disengagement.
- ASSA 492831A – Commonly used in restricted access areas, this lock’s cam arm ensures precision in the locking process.

Material and Durability
ASSA cam arms are made from high-grade materials, typically hardened steel or reinforced alloys. This ensures resistance to wear and tear, extending their lifespan even in high-usage environments. The corrosion-resistant finish protects against rust and environmental damage, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
The high-quality construction reduces the risk of operational failure, providing long-term security without frequent maintenance.
Easy Installation and Maintenance
Installing ASSA cam arms is a straightforward process. Each cam arm is precision-cut to fit the lock it is designed for, ensuring a seamless fit. The attachment points align perfectly with the lock body, making installation quick and secure.
Routine maintenance involves simple cleaning and occasional lubrication to keep the mechanism operating smoothly. Due to the quality of materials, wear and tear is minimal, reducing the need for frequent replacements.
Security Benefits
The precision-engineered cam arms enhance security by ensuring a firm and stable locking mechanism. When engaged, the cam arm prevents the lock from being easily tampered with or forced open. This is particularly important in high-security areas where unauthorized access must be strictly controlled.
The design also minimizes lock rotation, preventing misalignment that could compromise security. This feature ensures that the lock remains effective even after extended use.
Versatility in Application
ASSA cam arms are used in a variety of industries, including:
- Retail security – Protecting display cabinets and storage units.
- Industrial environments – Securing machinery and control panels.
- Office furniture – Providing reliable locking for filing cabinets and storage units.
- Public sector applications – Ensuring secure access in schools, hospitals, and government facilities.
Their adaptability makes them a preferred choice for professionals requiring high-performance locking mechanisms.
