Padlock Control Cabinet for Managed Sites
The Securikey padlock control cabinet is designed for facilities that need to store, organise and issue multiple padlocks from one controlled point. It is suitable for system padlocks, lockout padlocks, locker padlocks and site security padlocks used across schools, workplaces, leisure centres, depots and maintenance areas.
This page is focused on padlock cabinet control and padlock issue management. For ordinary replacement padlocks, use the padlock range. For locker doors that accept user padlocks, see locker hasp locks.
Storage for 24, 50 or 100 Padlocks
The cabinet is available in capacities for 24, 50 or 100 padlocks. The deep cabinet body and staggered hook layout give extra hanging space, making it easier to store padlocks and associated keys together without crowding the cabinet face.
Adjustable colour-coded and numbered hook bars support clear visual organisation. This helps staff identify issued and returned padlocks quickly, which is useful where locks are used for equipment, lockers, plant rooms, switchgear, machinery isolation or controlled access points.
Where Padlock Control Cabinets Are Used
Padlock control cabinets are useful where a site needs a central point for padlock issue, return and storage. They help reduce misplaced locks, keep spare padlocks organised and support simple control procedures without software or electronic access management.
- Maintenance teams managing isolation padlocks
- Schools and leisure sites using locker padlocks
- Workplaces controlling tool, gate, cage or compound padlocks
- Facilities teams managing building and plant-room padlocks
- Depots and warehouses issuing padlocks to authorised staff
Keyed Alike, Master Keyed or Combination Padlocks
The cabinet can be used with padlocks supplied keyed alike, keyed to differ, master keyed or with combination locking, depending on the control system required. This allows the cabinet to support simple padlock issue as well as more structured supervisory access plans.
- Keyed alike: multiple padlocks operate from the same key.
- Keyed to differ: each padlock operates independently.
- Master keyed: individual locks have their own keys, with authorised override access.
- Combination: keyless padlock control where suitable for the site.
