Securikey Padlock Control Cabinets
Securikey padlock control cabinets provide secure, organised storage for 24, 50 or 100 padlocks. Numbered, colour-coded hooks help facilities, maintenance and site teams manage the issue and return of locker, security and compatible lockout padlocks.
- Choose storage for 24, 50 or 100 padlocks
- Deep cabinet body with staggered hook layout
- Suitable for schools, workplaces, depots and maintenance teams
For individual locks, see our padlock range. For locker doors operated by user-supplied padlocks, see locker hasp locks.
Padlock Storage for Managed Sites
The cabinet creates a central point for storing, issuing and returning padlocks used for lockers, gates, cages, equipment, plant rooms and controlled access points. Adjustable numbered hook bars and matching tags make missing or issued locks easier to identify.
The deeper cabinet and staggered hooks provide additional clearance for padlocks and associated keys. Padlocks are not included unless stated in the selected product option.
Where Padlock Control Cabinets Are Used
- Maintenance departments organising isolation padlocks
- Schools and leisure facilities managing locker padlocks
- Workplaces controlling gate, cage and equipment padlocks
- Facilities teams managing building and plant-room locks
- Depots and warehouses issuing padlocks to authorised staff
Where padlocks are used for machinery isolation or lockout procedures, the cabinet provides storage and issue organisation only. The padlocks and site procedure must be assessed separately for the intended application.
Padlock Keying and Locking Options
The cabinet can store keyed-alike, keyed-to-differ, master-keyed and suitable combination padlocks. Choose the padlock system according to who needs access and how individual locks will be issued and controlled.
- Keyed alike: several padlocks operate with the same key.
- Keyed to differ: each padlock has its own operating key.
- Master keyed: individual keys are supported by an authorised master key.
- Combination: keyless access where suitable for the site.
Padlock Control Cabinet FAQs
What is a padlock control cabinet?
A padlock control cabinet is a secure storage unit used to organise, issue and return multiple padlocks from one managed location. It is suitable for facilities using padlocks across lockers, gates, cages, equipment and maintenance areas.
Which padlock cabinet capacity should I choose?
Choose a 24, 50 or 100-padlock cabinet according to the number of locks currently in use, then allow spare capacity for replacements and future requirements. Large padlocks or bulky key bunches may reduce the usable capacity.
Are padlocks included with the cabinet?
Padlocks are not included unless stated in the selected product option. Check the product description to confirm the cabinet capacity, supplied accessories and whether any padlocks are included.
Which types of padlock can be stored?
The cabinet can store compatible keyed-alike, keyed-to-differ, master-keyed and combination padlocks. Check the padlock body, shackle and attached key size against the cabinet hook spacing before ordering.
Can the cabinet store lockout padlocks?
The cabinet can store compatible lockout and isolation padlocks where their size suits the hook layout. It provides organised storage and issue control but does not by itself create a complete machinery isolation or lockout procedure.
How are issued and returned padlocks identified?
Numbered and colour-coded hook bars, matching tags and the removable control index help staff record padlock locations and identify which locks have been issued or returned.
