What is a KeyStor physical key storage system?
A KeyStor system is a high-capacity, physical key storage solution that uses panels or boards to organise large numbers of keys. It provides structured, visible key organisation without relying on electronic access or software.
How is KeyStor different from a wall-mounted key cabinet?
KeyStor systems are designed for significantly higher key volumes than standard wall-mounted cabinets. They typically use panel-based layouts and are suited to organisations managing extensive key inventories across sites or departments.
Does KeyStor use electronic access control?
No. KeyStor systems are mechanical key storage solutions. They do not include electronic locking, software platforms, audit trails or digital user management.
Who typically uses KeyStor key storage systems?
KeyStor systems are commonly used by fleet operators, facilities teams, property managers, education providers and public-sector organisations that need to store and organise a large number of physical keys in a clear, accessible format.
Can KeyStor systems be configured for future growth?
Yes. KeyStor systems are designed to be scalable, allowing additional panels or capacity to be added as key numbers increase. This makes them suitable for growing organisations or expanding estates.
Is professional installation required for KeyStor systems?
Larger KeyStor installations are typically installed by professionals to ensure secure fixing and correct alignment. Smaller configurations may be suitable for on-site installation, depending on wall type and system size.
Are KeyStor systems suitable for secure environments?
KeyStor systems provide controlled physical storage and organised access to keys. Where higher security is required, systems can be specified with appropriate locking and fixing while remaining fully mechanical.
