Pure Four Door Steel Lockers
Pure four door steel lockers provide four separate storage compartments in a durable unit suitable for schools, workplaces, changing rooms and commercial facilities. The compartment layout makes these lockers suitable where several users require individual storage without installing a separate full-height locker for each person.
The lockers are manufactured in the United Kingdom using robust steel construction and finished with a durable powder coating. Multiple depths, door colours and compatible locking options are available, allowing the locker specification to be matched to the available space, required security level and intended users.
Four Door Locker Features

Choosing the Correct Four Door Locker
- Measure the available height, width and depth
- Confirm the number of users requiring storage
- Check that each compartment is large enough for the intended contents
- Select the required locker depth
- Choose a lock suited to the site's access-control procedure
- Decide whether locker number plates are required
- Select the preferred door and carcass colours
- Allow sufficient clearance for doors to open fully
- Plan how adjacent lockers will be nested and securely positioned
Four door lockers are intended primarily for smaller personal belongings. Where users need to hang coats, uniforms or workwear, a one door or two door locker may provide more suitable internal space.
Locker Positioning and Installation
Install lockers on a firm, level surface and connect adjacent units through the pre-drilled nesting points. Locker runs should be positioned securely and installed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
Check floor levels, access routes, door clearances and any wall-fixing requirements before delivery. Suitable fixings must be selected for the building structure and site conditions.

Reasons to Choose Pure Four Door Lockers
Pure four door steel lockers provide four individually accessible compartments within one durable locker unit. They are suitable for schools, workplaces, changing rooms and commercial premises where users need secure storage for bags, clothing and personal belongings.
The range combines UK manufacture, steel construction, a powder-coated finish and a choice of dimensions, colours and locking options. Environmental, hygiene and fire-test claims should be checked against the documentation for the exact model being ordered.
| Feature or Programme | What It Means | Important Selection Note |
|---|---|---|
| UK manufacture | Pure steel lockers are manufactured in the United Kingdom. | Confirm the country-of-origin information for any accessories or locking systems supplied separately. |
| All-steel construction | Steel carcass and door construction designed for regular commercial, workplace and educational use. | Select the correct locker depth and compartment size for the intended contents. |
| Powder-coated finish | Durable external finish available in a choice of locker colours. | Refer to the current Pure colour chart because availability may vary by model. |
| Bioshell | Manufacturer-stated antibacterial powder-coat technology intended to support routine hygiene. | Antibacterial coating does not replace regular cleaning and disinfection procedures. |
| Flamezero | Manufacturer fire-testing programme associated with selected Pure locker products. | Do not describe the locker as fireproof. Confirm the applicable test, classification and selected model before specifying it for a fire-related requirement. |
| CO2 Zero | Manufacturer environmental programme concerning carbon emissions associated with production. | The supplied wording refers to a target of 2025. Confirm the current programme status before publishing a carbon-zero claim. |
| Zero 2 Landfill | Manufacturer-stated programme intended to divert manufacturing waste from landfill. | Treat this as a manufacturer operational claim rather than a product-level environmental certification. |
| Zero Single Use | Manufacturer-stated programme using recyclable product packaging. | Local recycling availability and packaging materials should be checked when the order is received. |
| Industry 4.0 production | Data-led manufacturing processes used to support production control and consistency. | This describes the manufacturing process and is not a security or product-performance standard. |

Standards and Test References
The supplied manufacturer information refers to BS 4680:1996 and BS 6396:2008+A1:2015. The relevance of each standard must be confirmed for the exact locker model, accessories and installation being specified.
| Reference | How It Should Be Presented |
|---|---|
| BS 4680:1996 | Present only where the current manufacturer documentation confirms that the selected locker model has been assessed or manufactured in accordance with the relevant requirements. |
| BS 6396:2008+A1:2015 | Confirm its relevance before publication, particularly where the locker does not include electrical components or an integrated electrical system. |
| Flamezero fire testing | State the exact test method, classification and product model shown in the supporting test report. Do not use the general term “fireproof locker”. |
Test reports and standards can apply to a specific construction, size, configuration or manufacturing period. Request current supporting documentation where compliance is central to the purchasing decision.
Bioshell Antibacterial Coating and Cleaning
Selected Pure lockers use the manufacturer’s Bioshell antibacterial powder-coat technology. This finish is intended to support hygiene by reducing the ability of bacteria to persist on treated surfaces.
The coating does not remove the need for a documented cleaning programme. Locker doors, handles, locks and frequently touched surfaces should be cleaned using products compatible with the powder-coated finish.
- Remove loose dust and debris before wet cleaning
- Use a soft cloth with a mild cleaning solution
- Avoid abrasive pads that may damage the powder coating
- Do not allow liquid to enter mechanical or electronic locks
- Follow the site’s hygiene and infection-control procedures
Environmental and Packaging Information
Pure promotes several manufacturing and waste-reduction programmes, including CO2 Zero, Zero 2 Landfill and Zero Single Use. These statements describe manufacturer initiatives and should not automatically be interpreted as independent environmental certification for every individual locker.
The original copy states “Carbon Zero Manufacturing by 2025”. As 2025 has passed, the current position should be confirmed with the manufacturer before this wording is published as a present-day fact.
Packaging should be separated into the appropriate local recycling streams after installation. Any protective wrapping, straps, timber or pallet materials should be handled in accordance with site waste procedures.
Choosing the Correct Pure Four Door Locker
- Confirm the number of users requiring individual compartments
- Measure the available height, width and depth
- Check that each compartment will accommodate the intended contents
- Select the required locker depth

- Confirm the required carcass and door colours

What locker depths are available?
The range is available with three locker-depth options. The exact measurements depend on the selected model and should be checked in the product selector or current Pure locker specification.
Which locks can be fitted to Pure lockers?
Available options may include key-operated cam locks, padlockable hasp locks, mechanical combination locks and selected electronic locks. Availability depends on the locker configuration. Compare the locker lock options before ordering.
