Heated lockers the eco way to dry work clothes
March 12, 2018
Total Locker Services have supplied Balfour Beaty with heated lockers for their work on the new National Automotive Innovation Centre (NAIC) at Warwick University.
The lockers in the photo above are in an island run configuration, four lockers placed back to back with a run of three lockers on the end. The locker sides are covered with white compact laminate end panels.
The heated lockers provide an excellent way to dry wet staff clothing either overnight or during the day for cyclists.
The lockers supplied to form an island run and lockers along the wall, exposed ends of runs are fitted with compact grade laminate end panels.
The lockers supplied are two doors, though we can manufacture heated lockers in a number of sizes and configurations.
Our low-cost heating system is the most cost-effective way of drying clothing over time.
The NAIC is a joint venture between Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG), Jaguar Land Rover and Tata Motors with funding from the UK Research Partnership Investment Fund. The National Automotive Innovation Centre (NAIC) will create and develop novel technologies to reduce dependency on fossil fuels and reduce CO2 emissions. As well as housing work on the latest advances in automotive technology, the NAIC will help develop a stronger supplier base in the UK. Find out more about the NAIC here.
