Lowe & Fletcher 2800 Mechanical Combination Locker Lock
The Lowe & Fletcher 2800 provides keyless mechanical access for lockers, cabinets and personal storage used by either permanently assigned or temporary users.
The lock offers up to 10,000 possible user codes and requires no batteries, power supply or network connection. It can be supplied for private, assigned-user operation or single-use public operation.
The required operating mode and fitting arrangement must be selected before ordering. Public and private versions are different products and cannot be switched between modes after supply.

Choosing Public or Private Operating Mode
Operating mode should be chosen according to whether the locker will be permanently allocated to one person or used by different people throughout the day.

Important: public and private modes must be specified when ordering. A supplied lock cannot subsequently be converted from one mode to the other.
Forgotten Codes and Supervisory Access
The 2800 includes a patented code-finder function intended to provide authorised emergency access when a user has forgotten the active code. The mechanism allows the correct digits to be identified through the lock rather than requiring the lock to be destroyed.
Access to code-recovery equipment and procedures should be restricted to authorised personnel. Site managers should establish a written process covering:
- who is authorised to recover a forgotten code
- how the identity of the locker user will be checked
- how emergency openings will be recorded
- where code-finder equipment will be stored
- when a compromised user code must be changed
- how lockers left occupied after closing will be handled
Code recovery should not be described as a conventional master-key override. The correct control method and any required management equipment should be confirmed when ordering.
Standard and Twist-Resistant Fitting Options
The standard fixing is suitable where the locker door and surrounding material provide adequate support for the lock. A twist-resistant fitting can be specified where additional stability is required.

Selecting the Correct Lock for the Site
The standard 2800 should not automatically be specified for wet, chlorinated or highly corrosive environments. Pool changing rooms, spas and other persistently damp locations require a locking system designed for those conditions.

Replacement Lock and Door Compatibility
The 2800 should not be described as a universal replacement for every cam lock. Compatibility depends on the existing door preparation, door thickness, lock movement, cam shape, cam position and available clearance behind the door.

The Lowe & Fletcher 2800 has a nominal body length of 20 mm, a width of 56 mm and a depth of 28 mm. The current technical drawing should be checked before preparing the locker door.
What door footprint does the 2800 use?
The lock is manufactured around a 16 × 19 mm industry-standard footprint. Existing holes, door thickness and rear clearance must still be measured before installation.
How is the 2800 fixed to the door?
The main lock housing uses a nut fixing with a 3/4 inch–27 UN thread. The threaded body is 20 mm long and the fixing nut measures 15.9 mm across flats.
