Stainless Steel Split Rings for Locker Keys and Key Fobs
Stainless steel split rings provide a simple connection between locker keys, key fobs and identification tags. They are particularly useful when replacing missing or worn rings or when assembling new locker key and numbering sets.
The split-ring design allows a key or fob to be added and removed without requiring a separate fastening. Once fitted, the key and identification fob can be kept together as one locker-key set.
Using Split Rings with Locker Keys
A split ring can be used to connect a locker key directly to an identification fob or numbered tag. This makes it easier to identify which locker a key belongs to and helps keep replacement keys and number references organised.
For sites managing larger quantities of keys, using a consistent key-and-fob arrangement can also simplify issuing, collecting and sorting locker keys.
Replacement Rings for Existing Key Fobs
Split rings are useful replacement components when an existing ring has been lost, damaged or removed from a locker key set. In many cases the existing key and identification fob can be retained and fitted to a replacement ring.
If the identification itself also needs replacing, see our locker key fobs and locker number discs.
Building New Locker Key Sets
When preparing keys for a new locker installation, split rings can be combined with numbered or engraved identification products to create individual key sets. This gives each key a visible reference that can correspond with the locker number or the site's own key-control system.
Replacement and spare keys for a wide range of locker manufacturers are available through our locker keys section.
Choosing a Split Ring
Before ordering, check that the ring is suitable for the key and fob apertures you intend to connect. The product dimensions and available options are shown in the specification section below.
