Engraved fobs, key fobs, rings and signs

Engraving capacity due to the growing demand for the engraved products, including key fobs, large hotel key fobs, table number plates, door number plates, locker door numbers and much more. Therefore we needed to add to our engraving capacity. Therefore we have purchased an IS7000 Gravograph rotary engraver to complement our existing Gravograph IS engravers.

Gravograph IS7000 Rotory Engravor

This IS7000 is a large bed industrial engraving machine capable of engraving plastics and other laminates, aluminium, brass and steel. Therefore, this engraving machine will allow us to add additional materials to our current engraving product range. In addition, the machine has a 200w motor and a collet spindle which allows us to take some of the more challenging materials. The machine has a large engraving table size of 610mm wide by 815mm long.

The IS7000 will allow us to manufacture engraved brass key fobs along with brass plaques, door plates and memorial signs. The powerful motor on the machine will take cutting and engraving brass in its stride.

Engraved key fobs

We currently at Total Locker Service engrave a wide variety of key fobs, from small numbered fobs usually used for locker keys to large hotel key fobs. Therefore we are happy to add your logo, or graphic all you need to do is provide us with the image file. We will then produce proof artwork for you to approve. If you would like the fobs to be double-sided, we can produce them. All our key fobs are supplied with a custom-manufactured quality 25mm split ring ideal to complement your engraved key fob.

Laminate materials for engraved fobs and plates

We prefer to engrave ABS laminate in thicknesses from 0.9mm to 3.2. Materials under 3.2mm are usually single-sided and used as number plates and signs. For key fobs, we primarily use a laminate thickness of 3.2mm. We find that you need a key fob of 3.2mm to provide the necessary strength and rigidity. We will engrave Trafolite though we find that this material has a brittle edge and can look tatty over time in a high use environment.
