Probe Locker Number Plates for Locker Identification
Probe locker number plates provide a simple way to identify individual lockers when setting up a new locker bank, extending an existing installation or replacing missing locker identification.
A clear numbering system can make day-to-day locker management easier by helping staff and users identify individual compartments and associate them with key, allocation and maintenance records.
Numbering New Probe Locker Installations
Before ordering numbers for a new installation, decide how the lockers will be identified across the site. Straightforward sequential numbering works well for many installations, while larger sites can use letters and numbers to distinguish different locker banks, rooms or areas.
For example, a site could use a simple sequence such as 1, 2, 3 and 4, or an alphanumeric system such as A101, A102 and B101. Using a consistent format from the start makes future replacement and expansion easier to manage.
Replacement Numbers for Existing Probe Lockers
These number plates are also suitable when an existing Probe locker installation has missing, damaged or outdated identification. Check that the locker has the standard Probe card holder and enter the required letters or numbers when ordering.
When matching an existing locker bank, use the same numbering convention and select the appropriate laminate colour from the product options above.
Managing Locker Numbers
For schools, workplaces, leisure facilities and other sites with large numbers of lockers, it is useful to keep the locker number consistent across allocation, key-control and maintenance records. This gives each locker a recognisable reference when keys are issued, parts are replaced or repairs are recorded.
If lockers are being added later, leaving room within the original numbering system can also make expansion easier without having to renumber the complete installation.
