ASSA Coin Lock Replacement Cylinders
Replacement ASSA coin lock cylinders are available for compatible coin-operated locker locks. Each cylinder is supplied with two keys and should be selected using the reference shown on the existing cylinder or complete lock.
Replacing the keyed cylinder can restore access to an existing locker without automatically replacing the complete coin lock. This is suitable where the cylinder is damaged, worn or missing but the lock housing, latch and coin mechanism remain operational.

How to Identify the Correct ASSA Cylinder
Check the reference stamped or marked on the existing cylinder before ordering. Cylinders that appear similar may have different profiles, dimensions, rear connections or operating arrangements and should not be selected from appearance alone.
Where the reference cannot be read, provide clear photographs of the front, side and rear of the cylinder. Include the following information:
- The complete cylinder or coin-lock reference
- The overall cylinder dimensions
- The shape and position of the rear connection
- The locker or cabinet manufacturer, where known
- Photographs of the complete lock inside and outside the door
Suitable Locker Applications
ASSA coin lock cylinders are used in compatible locker locking systems found in leisure centres, swimming pools, gyms, schools, workplaces and changing facilities. Compatibility depends on the existing ASSA lock assembly rather than the type of building in which the locker is installed.
Cylinder Replacement or Complete Lock Replacement?
A replacement cylinder may be sufficient where the key barrel is the only damaged or missing component. Replace the complete coin lock where the housing, latch, coin mechanism or internal operating components are also damaged.
The replacement cylinder does not by itself determine whether the complete lock returns a coin, retains a coin or operates with a token. These functions depend on the existing coin-lock mechanism.
