A locker key that will not turn does not automatically mean the locker lock needs replacing. The problem may be the key itself, pressure on the locker door, a worn cylinder, an incorrect replacement key or a mechanical fault inside the lock. Continuing to force the key can turn a minor access problem into a snapped key and a more disruptive repair.
