Police lockers need to accommodate considerably more than ordinary staff clothing. An officer may need secure storage for body armour, uniform, protective clothing, boots, head protection, bags, personal belongings and other issued operational equipment, often within a single assigned storage position that must remain practical during busy shift changes.
