A sad farewell to Martin Hutchinson
Martin Hutchinson Logic Lock Engineer
Martin passed away on 26th January 2015, from the very start of Total Locker Service Martin worked as our Logic Lock engineer.
For all those that knew Martin, he was always very professional, conscientious and dedicated to his job. He knew the Logic Lock system inside out.
Martin was much loved by his colleagues and customers and when things were not always going to plan could be relied on to make people smile with a witty comment.
Martin was diagnosed with lung cancer and unfortunaly had to leave Total Locker Service due to his health in 2010. Though Martin formally left Total Locker we always remained in contact, Martin frequently assisted us with support and technical assistance, his customers would frequently call him for advice. Even though he battled with the cancer he never gave up constantly fighting through the treatment the remission and unfortunately its return, his determination was so strong as to be an inspiration, this is something I will never forget.
I will miss my phone calls with Martin, they were always a surprise, he would always have a tale to tell of his battle with the Department Of Work And Pensions or some excitement regarding his caravan. Martins funeral took place on the 19/02/2014. It was attended by members of the British legion and the coffin was draped with the union jack as Martin had been a professional soldier for most of his working life. He was buried in Colchester cemetery to the sound of the last post. He will be sorely missed.
