Total Locker Service provided Golf Club with a complete redesign of their existing club changing room. The whole room was redesigned to take into account the needs of the members and tournament guests. As space is at a premium it was essential to maximise the available number of lockers whilst the changing room remain spacious.
The locker room was modelled in 3D by total Locker Service using material colours to allow the client to fully appreciate the proposed layout prior to work commencing. Ensuring that the customer fully understands the product and layout that is being proposed.
The existing metal lockers were replaced with metal carcase lockers to provide a robust hard warring product, locker doors manufactured from solid Oak to provide an extremely luxurious finish. The lockers were specially sized so that the central span of lockers could be stacked two high fitting tightly to the roof maximising compartment size. A double-sided suite hanging unit was designed specifically to fit within the double stack of lockers providing storage to both sides of the central lockers. The lockers around the room were specially designed as a welled locker to facilitate a seat placed in front of the lockers, the top of the lockers finished in 38mm MDF bull nosed to take a layer of carpet.
The seat manufactured from MDF and laminated the edges radius and coated with 2 layers of lacquer, this provides a hard wearing edge without the possibility of edge tape coming loose. The seat top manufactured by 38mm MDF and laminated with a bullnose edge to take a layer of carpet.
This resulted in an extremely aesthetically pleasing and hard wearing locker solution.
